The town of Onet Le Château
Built around 1200 by the chapter of Rodez to protect the possessions it had just acquired, the castle flanked by four large towers served as an asylum and retreat for six canons during the wars.
Later, they made it their country house, the ogival door of the entrance opens between two turrets capped with stone pepperboxes. The facades are provided with loopholes.
Access to the house is via a 15th century door.
The chapel has become a parish church.
It contains a holy water font dug in a white marble capital dating from the Gallo-Roman period.
Seized during the revolution, his furniture was divided into 36 lots on December 17, 1792, then sold to 22 people for 1,328 pounds.
